App: EveryHour: Desk Exercises (com.getprof.everyhour) · Developer: GetProf · Effective: 30 October 2026

EveryHour reminds you to take short exercise breaks during your day. This policy explains what information the app handles. In short: GetProf does not collect, share or sell your personal data. Your progress stays on your phone. The free app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some device data to show them, as described below.

Information the app keeps on your phone

To work, the app stores on your device, in its private storage:

This information is not sent to GetProf or to anyone else. Settings › Reset all data erases it, and so does uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android settings.

Ads (Google AdMob)

EveryHour is free and shows ads: a banner on the Exercises, Badges and Settings screens and, now and then, a full-screen ad after you finish an exercise. The ads come from Google AdMob, a third-party service. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the app uses the internet and collects device information such as your advertising ID, your IP address (from which an approximate location is derived), your device model and how you interact with the ads. Google uses this data as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before ads are personalised. You can change your choice any time in Settings › Help › Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's settings (Google › Ads, or Privacy › Ads).

Your exercises, progress, settings and badges are never sent to Google or to GetProf. There is no sign-in, no analytics and no crash reporting.

Android backup

If you have turned on backup in your Android settings, Android may include the app's data in your device backup to your Google account, as it does for most apps, and restore it on a new phone. That backup is made and kept by Google under your Google account's terms; GetProf has no access to it. You can turn backup off in Android settings.

Permissions

Notifications (Android 13 and later asks for it): used only to remind you when a break is due. If you decline, the app still works while it is open; you just won't get reminders in the background.

Health information

The app does not collect health or fitness data. It counts the exercises you mark as done, on your phone only. Its exercise suggestions are general wellness tips, not medical advice. If you have an injury or a health condition, check with a professional before starting any exercise.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and GetProf does not knowingly collect any information from them. Ads in the app are limited to content suitable for a general audience.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address and in the app, with a new effective date.
